The parallel operation of our new switchgear for AC drives on the annealing line for flat steel products in Genk, Belgium, was completed with great success. In the final conversion step, the KERN Industrie Automation team dismantled the old switchgear, which was around 25m long. After the final commissioning together with the company artCon, the new system based on SINAMICS S120 technology was handed over to the customer.
