Thyssenkrupp Rasselstein GmbH operates a finishing line VA10 for tinplate at the Andernach plant. KERN Industrie Automation was commissioned with the renewal of the electrical equipment for the VA10.
As a further step in this modernization project, the existing 20kV switchgear has now been connected to the data collector PLC and system visualization. This provides the operator with an overview of the current status/fault messages and the 20kV switches can now be switched on remotely via the HMI system.
